Generalize a large feature class while maintaining topology

I have a highly detailed (high vertex count) feature class with 600 000+ polygons that represent property parcels for an entire province. I'd like to generalize this feature class substantially before publishing it as a web service.

I have found that the Generalize (Editting) tool does not maintain topology and results in large gaps between parcels. The "Generalize a feature" tool in "Modify Features" on the Editting toolbar will maintain topology, but errors if I include many features (more than 1000 approximately).

Anyone know how to generalize 600000+ features whilst maintaining topology?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Specs: ArcGIS Pro 2.9.3, Windows 10, 4 Physical Cores (8 logical), 16GB installed memory.

Give a try to Simplify Polygon (Cartography) with Cartographic Partitions (Environment Settings).
