https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/export-layout-chg-settings-so-that-the-default/m-p/1248274#M64251 <P>In ArcGIS Pro, when the user exports a layout, the file name of the export file is default the name given to the <EM>layout.</EM> This is good at times, but sometimes, I would like the default name of the file to be different than the layout name....</P><P>I try to keep the Layout names concise, so I can see many open names at once....and then the files I export may need a more explicit name...but every time I re-export, the default name goes back to the layout name...</P><P>Example: I have a layout called ANSII E in my project, but I want the pdf file to be named "Fig 2 Property Overview for Project Proposal.pdf".</P><P>I can change it manually, but every time I export to pdf, the default name 9the layout name) gets inserted back in. Its tedious. Not sure I am explaining myself clearly...ask away if not!
