topic Linking data across map frames in a Map Series in ArcGIS Pro Questions

AcrGIS Pro 3.0.3

I have created a map series with an inset map, so there are two maps frames in the layout. The map series is zooming to a point for each map. 40 points, 40 maps, grouped by an attribute. They are across a state and each point is zoomed into 1:24,000. I need the inset map to show which county in the state the point is in. So, I need it to select the county the point is in and highlight that county some how. County is not an option in the attributes of the points right now but could be added easily.

See the solution here by Michael Kohler. After you set the "Constraint" in the dropdown, be sure to set the "Margin" so it zooms out a bit on your inset map as shown in this example:

https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/map-series-extent-indicator-not-updating/m-p/1192341#M57254
