I recently noticed that I do not get the a thumbnail in the <A href="https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/services-reference/enterprise/thumbnail.htm" target="_self">ItemInfo Thumbnail resource</A> even if the originating mosaic dataset has one. I don't see a way to set this during publishing and server manager doesn't seem to have a way to do it.</P><P>I've had to get assistance from our development team to edit&nbsp; the JSON and add thumbnail to our server directory manually. I've never intentionally set up a thumbnail on the service (doing this in ArcGIS Online item instead) when publishing, so I don't know why it has been successfully added in the past. Our <A href="https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/nadar/rest/services/AerialPhotography" target="_self">aerial photography</A> directory shows this inconsistency: some services have the thumbnail, some don't.</P><P>I appreciate any input.
