Hi,

I tried doing it per political boundary (district level), but the generated grids of squares will not line up. Most noticeably along the boundary edges. Anybody has any idea how What3Words Grid was created for the whole world? Im trying to do this for one country only. Tried using Q*** but it just crashed my system lol

way to overcome feature class objects limitations?

maybe a crazy question to ask. I am trying to create a country wide grid with a 5mx5m resolution but the Create Grid tool won't run as it will exceed the limit. Is there a way to overcome this? or any other reccomended way to create a country wide grid with this grid size?

Here's what I tried.

Create the grid by smallest political boundary unit (district) - but the grid will not lineup with other district's grid

I would like to ask what you want to use such a grid for?

However, we would be talking roughly more than 3.2 x 10 to the 17 features.

You may have to create multiple feature classes of squares
