User cannot update feature class

Hi Community

I created a user in a SQL geodatabase via ArcGIS Pro 3.0. I assigned select. insert, delete and update privileges to a feature class for the created user. The user is unable to edit the feature class in sde.

On the "list by editing" tab in contents there is a red exclamation mark with the following message, "This layers workspace is read only"

Any help much appreciated

Have you checked the "user" role?

Hi Adriana

It is not a ArcGIS online user. Its a internal user that needs to update the sde via ArcGIS Pro

is this a versioned or non-versioned database ?

Hi Craig, currently it is non-versioned, Will make it versioned as soon as the users are able to update the tables
