Hi

Is it possible to have a different background map in a map overview to the background map in the main layout. If i activate the main layout frame and change the background map then the overview background also changes and vice versa.

A similar question applies to feature layers, can i switch a number of them off in the map overview while they are on in the main layout frame.

I am looking for a solution that doesn't involve coding.

Arcgis Pro 3.0.2

I have done this in the past by making a copy of my map and renaming it to Overview Map. I then configure it with the basemap and layers that make sense for the overview and select it when I create the overview map frame on my layout. Both maps refer to the same layers, but they can be adjusted independently.
