topic Not able to edit layers in ArcGIS Pro Questions

Hello everyone.

I work for a Gas (Utilities) Company as a GIS Tech. We are wanting to start our transition from Map to Pro. We reconcile and post our edits to our SQL16 database and then we use our Web Map for the rest of the company to see.

We are running into the issue of our layers not being editable. We are getting errors such as "Geometric Networks are not editable", "This layer type is not editable", and "unknown error". Everything works great on Map and me being an old school Arc user, I prefer Map but not knowing a lot about Pro we don't know how to fix this issue.

Please help or provide any kind of guidance you can, would be very much appreciated.

Klayton - so Geometric Networks are read-only networks in ArcGIS Pro and cannot be edited. The recommendation is to upgrade your workflows to the Utility Network. You can learn more about them here.
