topic ArcGIS Pro Project template with SDW vector layers in ArcGIS Pro Questions

Working for a large consulting firm and we want to create a standard template. Pro project template handles most of the things we need which is fantastic (standard layouts, style files, multiple maps). The only issue is we have a whole spatial data warehouse with multiple geodatabases that are routinely updated and have added six vector layers to create a base map on one of the maps in the Pro Project template .aprx. When the template package is created it appears that creates new .gdbs and copies the vector layers so that everything is stored within the project template environment.

File size with vector layers and new .gdbs: 5,700,000 KB

File size without vector layers: 450 KB

Question: Is it possible to have the project template recognizes the vector layers as links in the SDW so that it doesn't recreate them?
