topic Smooth or merge Triangles in a TIN in ArcGIS Pro Questions

I have contours that I'm converting to a TIN, it works fine but I get waaaay too many triangles. Is there a tool that will smooth or blend or merge some of these triangles and still maintain the surface's look. There are too many that are unnecessarily tiny and I'd like to clean those up. I ultimately need to convert these triangles to polygons and keep the file size as low as I can.

your contours are really close, hence the large number of triangles,

change your contour interval prior to making the tin, or try

Decimate TIN Nodes (3D Analyst)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

to reduce redundancies in the data
