Problems loading large IFCs in the arcgis Pro

I am having problems when trying to load large IFC files (railway infrastructure) via the directory > add to map.
Arcgis Pro shuts down on its own!

I have tried to load the disciplines separately and the error persists. Is there a limit to the size of the files or number of elements contained in the BIM model?

Hello,

There is no limit to the size of the IFC you can read on Pro. The limit is tie to the amount of memory (RAM) your computer has.

To try to narrow you issue i have a few questions.

which version of Pro are you using?
Which version of IFC are you trying to read?

Arcgis 3.0.2

my notebook have 16 gb ram i7 8ªgen 240Gb SSD

other software opens this file quickly (navysworks, Bexel, BIM Collab)

Hello,

Form the hardware side you are okay. Also you are using ifc2x3 and the elements are not as well categorize as ifc 4x3. In that case most of the elements will be lump into IfcBuildingElementProxy so there could be an issue on those geometries.
