topic Buffer Help in ArcGIS Pro Questions

I'm working with 2 different layers. I need to create a 4 mile buffer using one of the layers. I then need to select the locations that are within the buffer but outside of the second feature layer's boundaries. I've created the buffer already but can't seem to figure out the second part. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Tori,

If I understand correctly you should be able to use select by location twice, once to select everything within your 4 mile buffer and then again to select everything within the second feature layer boundary but this time with 'remove from the current selection' as the selection type.

Cheers, Graeme
