But I'm having difficulty interpreting the result. Of course I know if the color is darker, the more density certain spot has. And I know this kernel density is calculated based on probability density function, whose total area is 1.

If so, is the density calculated by KDE function in ArcGIS PRO as just same as probability? And does the sum of density value of each pixel(cell I set) amounts 1? I am confused because at first I thought like this, but now I figured out that if it's right that each density value=probability at each pixel, it might seem exceed 1. As it can be seen in the picture, there are numerous cells. Even if I suppose every kernel density value of darkest cell as just minimum, 0.014816, which is on the just above of threshold value of the second darkest cells, 0.014815, when it is multiplied by number of darkest cells I think it might seem to exceed.

Or is this just my misunderstanding?
