ERROR 000260: The item was not found. While packaging

Hi everyone,

while working with ArcPro 2.8.3 I'm not able to successfully create a map package (Project Package). After a few minutes (I don't get any warnings before) the packaging stops and I get the message in the log.

"ERROR 000260: The item was not found."

Has anyone ever experienced that and nows how to solve it? Are there maybe certain layers which are not suited for packaging such as rasters oder basemaps?

Sometimes I also get the name of the dataset in brackets after the error, e.g.

ErrorMessage: ERROR 000260: The item was not found.--The item was not found. [Dataset_name]. But there seems to be nothing wrong with these datasets.

I just had the same problem and was able to succesfully package the project by specifying to include the geoprocessing history (last option on the Create package pane)
