However, when exporting to PDF in a layout, the slice doesn't persist.</P><P>The only way to achive this currently, is to export the map frame to JPEG when the frame is "Activated", export the Layout as a PDF, then replace the map frame in the PDF with the jpeg image in Adobe Pro.
