    <description>&lt;P&gt;After upgrading my annotation feature class, one of the symbols had changed: a part of the symbology that was deactivated was activated again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am really struggling with editing the symbology of annotations.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. When I try to change an annotation class, it instead creates a new one. This is very inconvenient, I do not want a new one, I want to change this one.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. It warns me that the features will be connected to the old one until they are edited to reference another symbol - No! Why? I am editing the symbol because I don't want them to look like the old one anymore! That's why I am creating a new one!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. After calculating the SymbolID field again, it displayed the new symbology, but it simply didn't display a leader, even though the new symbology clearly has one. Where did it go and how do I get it back?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This joins the list of things that were easier in ArcMap...&lt;/P&gt;</description>
