Easily move a feature on only one axis

Is there an easy way to restrict the movement of a feature to only one axis when moving it manually in ArcGIS Pro (ie via Edit --> Tools --> Move)? In PowerPoint, for example, holding down the shift key while you're moving a textbox/shape/image/etc restricts the movement so that the feature will only move either up/down (with no movement along the x axis) or left/right (with no movement along the y axis). I know there are ways to do this which involve specifying a certain distance and direction to move the feature, but a simple way to do the same thing (akin to the PowerPoint functionality) would be really useful.

Hi @MatthewLaw_MM

You can do this easily enough with the editing grid turned on:

Turn on the Grid
Select features with Move
Hold Ctrl to snap the move anchor to a vertical or horizontal grid line
Move the selected features vertically or horizontally while snapping to the same grid line.

Requirements:

Snapping turned on.
The "snap to grid" snapping option turned on.
