PDF Exports in Pro Jumble Text, Help?

I have been experiencing a strange issue where when I export a map in Pro as a pdf, the letters in any text box, legend, or label get jumbled together. I don't have this issue when I export as another file type. I checked my software and its up to date, really not sure what to do here, any ideas?

I am including an example map. The title should read "This is a test map" but as you see, the letters are getting squeezed together.

The text on the map looks correct on my machine. What PDF viewer are you using?

Hi Christian,

I agree with Ken -- the issue seems to be related to the PDF viewer. When I had it set as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, the text appeared squeezed together. However, if you set it to Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, the text will appear correct.

You can change where this the PDF is opened by right clicking on the file > Open with > Choose another app. If you can consistently reproduce this with all PDFs that are exported from Pro, I'd like to gather more information about what version you're working with and whether this happens with other fonts.
