Parcel Fabric set up

I am trying to set up a parcel fabric for work as a test environment to see if we want to move to managing our parcel layer using this tool. However trying to set it up just using the webpage is a bit much and I was wondering if anyone had any type of documentation how they set their up.

Particular issues I am having is trying to get the records type not to show numbers but split, merge etc.

Getting the COGO lines to show the distances

At this point I would also take any advice on what you need to do to your data before you get append it to the Fabric.

@JackHorton - any ideas on best practices of setting up a parcel fabric? And getting COGO lines to show the distances?

To get a textual record type, put a domain on the Record Type field:

And to control line labeling, you can turn on labeling and optionally alter the arcade label expression:
