Exporting Map

I am attempting to export my map after creating a layout and adding in a legend, and some text (title, date created, etc). Whenever I click export though, I am getting an error message stating: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." Im not sure what this means or how to set the object reference. Thanks!

That's really odd. Can you provide a screenshot? It might also be worth reaching out to technical support, they are really good at getting to the root of problems like this and providing solutions. You can contact them here: https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support

Here is the error message and here's my drawing order. And there's no place in the export layout screen to select an object or anything like that.

Hmmm, okay. Can you send a picture of the entirety of Pro when you get that error message? It would be helpful to see the export settings and what is active.
