Customize layout gallery not working

Hi,

I tried to customize the layout gallery in Arcgis Pro 2.8.3 as described in this article: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/mapping/customize-your-layout-gallery-arcgis-pro-2-5/ but it is not working for me. I directed the ''Import gallery path'' to a folder in my documents in the C: folder on my computer but it is not working. I also changed the metadata of the layout files but this did not solve the problem.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this? I included a Layout file i tried to show in the Layout gallery.

Hello @JurgenRotteveel

Try making the folder path on your C: drive a folder connection in your catalog.

Thanks for the answer. I solved the problem, i thought that the new layouts would show up in the ''New layout'' button but I see them now when I press the ''Import layout'' button :).
