topic Projecting predictions on a raster surface with Forest based classification tool in ArcGIS Pro Questions

Using Arc GIS Pro 2.8.2 and a selection of raster and vector layers for a Forest based regression. In order to project predictions on a raster surface all input layers must be rasters. My vector layers are point layers of contaminated groundwater wells with circular buffers surrounding them. Does it make sense to convert these polygons to raster layers for the purpose of project using the forest project onto raster tool?

most spatial analysis tools that require rasters from vector data will do it behind the scenes.

It is a better workflow to do any conversion yourself so that you have control over the cell size, extent and snap raster to ensure alignment of the data sets prior to analysis
