Remove z values when creating a feature class

Hello,

Is there a way to change the default so that z values are disabled by default when creating a feature class? When I right click and select New Feature Class the z values are enabled by default. If possible I would like to change the default so that z values are disabled. Interestingly I did notice that the Create Feature Class geoprocessing tool has Z values disabled by default.

I don't see one in Project backstage Options.

The best method is to use arctoolbox tools, since the Environments tab on each tool provides access to a variety of other controllable aspects of geoprocessing. Shortcuts sometimes provide less options and control
