topic Two ObjectIDs for identical fid in ArcGIS Pro Questions

Hi, I'm using ARCGIS Pro 2.5.2 to process an OS MasterMap Topography. ARCIS Pro is generating two separate ObjectIDs for polygons with identical fids. Does this mean the area, count, etc calculations generated are double what they should be? What is causing this issue and is there a fix? Thanks

Looks like you have identical overlaying polygons.

You could use Find Identical and Delete Identical tools to find/ remove the duplicate features.

* Delete Identical tool modifies the input data. Please keep a backup of the original data before executing the tool.
