Hi Robert,

No it shouldn't. The model is just a simple string of arcpy functions. I'll post the graphic here.

Hi there.

I have a model I built that functions perfectly fine on all of my .aprx's. However when I send the .tbx to a coworker and he imports the toolbox into a project, he gets 'Error 000816 the tool is not valid'. He is on an earlier version of ArcPro than me. My question is what could be the source of this issue? Is the difference in ArcPro versions preventing the use of the tool for him?

Chris - I found a technical support article about Error Code 000816 - does this apply to your custom tool?

Update - I ended up testing the tool with a different co-worker with the same version of ArcPro as me (2.6.3) and the tool worked. Looks the the version discrepancy was the source of the issue.
