How do I import a map (mxd) from and external drive

Hi everyone

I relatively new to ArcGIS Pro, I only used the previous ArcGIS versions so far, having done a few Courses to get started with this new Pro version (currently using 2.5).

I am having difficulties understanding how can I import a map (*mxd) (previously done in another ArcGIS version) that is stored in an external drive, once my only options are "My Computer" "Portal" and "Project".

I have an old computer that does not have a lot of space remaining, so all my files are stored in an external driver, and I used to work from there just fine.

Can anyone help?

Your external drive will be listed under My Computer if properly connected
