Geoprocessing in Stand alone CoreHost app

Hi,
Are there any plans to support geoprocessing in a stand alone ArcGIS Pro SDK apps ?

I just watched the DevSummit21 day 3 plenary. And this was mentioned, but I'm not sure if he misspoke.

Anyway this is definitely something which we could use - we are currently using ArcObject/Engine for this scenario.

You can do geoprocessing and more with arcpy (for pro) in a stand alone script in Python.

What the OP is asking about is a replacement for ArcGIS Engine, which there isn't one based on Pro code base at the moment.

We need something that can replace the old ArcObjects API in a GUI app.
So arcpy is not usable for us in this case.
But a requirement that ArcGIS Pro needs to be installed would be OK.
