So, I have two shapefiles and I want to add a feature from the second shapefile to the first. The first one is a freeway network with numerous links creating the network and second file is camera data that counts traffic volume on different links. The links are from two different companies so they are not the same to merge. However both use same CRS. I want to extract the traffic volume from the second shapefile and add it to a aggregated links from the first shapefile. so for instance if we have a 2 links in a part of freeway and there is a cameras along these links that count the traffic. I want to add the traffic counts from the camera to respective links that camera fall within in the first shape file.

I have added a picture to describe it better
