Why does the "Create Features, Create Points Along Line" feature edit function display an inconsistent line length.

I have a line feature with an attribute length of 1591.419492, measuring the line gives the same value but in meters. When I use the "Create Points Along Line" function under editing it states the length of the line is 0.013m.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I'm not reproducing this:

What coordinate system is your line layer?

What coordinate system is the map?

Is this the only data you have that reproduces the issue?

Ah that's it! There was a sneaky transformation I didn't see when I checked the coordinate systems. Thanks for your help.

I think, I was bringing various features in different DATUMS, it took a minute but I was able to find the best DATUM for my area, then did a transformation to that DATUM... my biggest mistake is being self taught so I never truly learned the importance of PROJECTING data correctly
