Is it possible to only see legend items that are shown within a layout frame? If not, I am submitting this as an ArcGIS Pro Idea.

Hello Heath,

In the Legend Properties box, click the "Show Properties" button under Legend items. Check the box that says "Only show features visible in the map extent."

Rachel, I should also let you know that my data is from a feature service. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Hello Heath,

Thank you for providing a screenshot. It is odd that you do not have any of the options in the Feature Display Options category. The option was implemented in version 1.4 of ArcGIS Pro, so I am unsure why you are not seeing it if you are using version 2.4. I recommend contacting Technical Support and opening a case with this issue.
