      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am trying to do something that should be ridiculously simple. I have a project with multiple maps. I would like all the maps to be at the exact same extent and scale. I open the map properties, I click the extent tab, click the use custom extent tab, copy the the extent, and then repeat and paste the extent coordinates into a different map. Nothing happens. The map extent remains exactly as it was before. Why?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
