Visual total distance when creating a line feature (ArcGIS Pro)

Good Day Folks,

When I am creating a line feature, I want to be able to visual see the total length of my line

that I have sketched already. I know when you have constraints on that you visually see the

distance from node to node but I would like total distance. Is there any possible way or code

snippet out there that would allow me to do this?

Specifically, it would be this idea https://community.esri.com/ideas/17729 While the description is about polygons, the functionality, if/when implemented, would need to cover digitizing lines and polygons.
