Dear ArcPro Colleagues

I have recently noticed that that my layers can be seen under the map tab, but when i want to define a new layout tab, i can't see any of my layers which are under the Map tab?

So, essentially the question is how to i move the layers from the map tab to the empty layout tab? it is something that should have happened logically..just like we toggle between map view and layout view in ArcMap

layouts aren't linked to a particular map when you add them. Add the desired MapFrame to your layout to see your map layers. (Insert tab, Map Frame split button)
