Phantom Feature

I think I'm losing my mind. I suddenly noticed a feature that could not be selected in a feature class (I've been working on this feature class for a very long time, never seen it before, don't know how it got there). I turned all layers off, and it's still there! It's not a graphic, it's boundary scales with scale. Any ideas what's going on? (ArcGIS Pro)

Follow-up: I saved, closed, and reopened the mxd - all is well, feature is gone. But still, weird!

if it can't be selected, try removing one layer one at a time to see if it disappears.

If it doesn't disappear when you have removed all the layers. Delete the map and open a new one and add the layers to it one at a time
