The tool fails with a generic 999999 error which leaves me completely baffled with no direction to troubleshoot. Both data sources are wgs84 and are sitting in the same gdb. I tried to keep it as simple as possible and have it summarizing 0 or 1 field at most. Any ideas on how I can troubleshoot? Then I use the Summarize Within (Analysis Tools) tool with that layer and a layer of points, which fails with a generic error. I did try the summarize within tool utilizing the same point layer but a different polygon layer and it worked. Seems like it doesn't like my hex polygons for some reason but I can't seem to pinpoint why.
