When stylizing symbols and adding a logo, the exported PDF does not copy what is seen in the layout view of ArcGIS Pro 1.4.1. As a note, the symbol used was stylized from the FONT option, not the SYMBOL option (does that make a difference? If so how do you import the ESRI fonts into the symbols in Pro?). Why do the symbols change upon export, and why does the logo become blacked out? How can I fix this?

EDIT:

As you do if you play around with it enough, I've solved my own questions. In case anyone else runs into this I'll write what i found. I'm sure this isn't the best way to solve these issues, but for the symbology - I eliminated the fill and outline color (set as none), which sets the halo color as the fill color; and for the picture with the inverted color, I had to set a really high PDI (over 700).
