topic Remove a Folder Connection in ArcGIS Pro Questions https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/remove-a-folder-connection/m-p/561168#M24651 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>ArcGIS Pro 2.5</P><P></P><P>I made a mistake thinking I could rename a folder connection in a Catalog pane to something more identifiable; it was a folder that I had checked 'add to new projects'.&nbsp; Well, I found the errors in my ways: when you rename a folder in the catalog tree in Pro, it changes the name at the file system level.&nbsp; Now when I create a new project I see the big red exclamation symbol next to the 'renamed' folder that does not exist, since I've fixed it at the file system level</P><P></P><P>I have removed the offending folder connection and restarted Pro, but the broken connection persists.
