Pro 1.3 crashes when running merge

I have 2 feature classes in arcgis online account that I'm running the analysis/merge command on in pro 1.3. But it crashes with error or "Error executing function.Objects in this class cannot be updated outside an edit session"

this works on same data for a pro v 1.1 installation.

any ideas?

When you say analysis/merge command, what are you specifically referring to?

There is a tool Merge—Data Management toolbox | ArcGIS for Desktop but there is no equivalent or similar in Analysis and there is no arcpy function with that name, only arcpy access to the tool.

In ArcGIS Pro 1.3.1 select the Analysis Tab and then the Merge tool (unde manage data section). This is the same set of tools available in ArcGIS Online, just via Pro

Ok... I still use Arctoolbox in Pro as in the link I posted, one would assume that the same options would apply, but perhaps not.

this was found to be a bug in 1.3 pro when attachments are in the feature class and the merge tool is run
