DB: Oracle 11g

Run Select Layer by Attribute on a Date Field ( is NOT NULL or is NULL) even successfully validating. Error ,

ERROR 000358: Invalid expression
Failed to execute (SelectLayerByAttribute).

Sorry, cant delete this post. pls ignore this as i tried the same in ArcMap and it throws some Oracle error. The problem is this data is not ours. we can not work on it. a copy of this in our own database is fine both for ArcPro and Arcmap.

Hi Dan,

Perhaps, Pro can have the same detailed error message ( stating the Oracle number error etc ) as that of ArcMaps...As it is now, Pro's message was only " ... invalid SQL expression .. ".

Just a suggestion.
