topic Live Query Layer in ArcGIS Pro in ArcGIS Pro Questions

Hello! I'm a complete newbie who needs help. I'm using ArcGIS Pro and SQL Server. I have a query that returns a list of facilities, with their locations and some information about each one. I want to create a map that displays the latest results of that query, adding or deleting facilities as they're added or deleted from the DB. But when I add a query layer in ArcGIS Pro, I get a standalone table, and displaying the XY data from that table creates a map that is static and does not reflect changes to the DB.

This seems like such an obvious thing to do with ArcGIS that I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. I would be very grateful for any help!
