I need to detect hight errors in a DSM in hight montain areas and correct those hight errors with a reference data set. I want to detect the hight errors caused by senor noise, classify them to a NoData value and fill those NoData values with Data of another DSM.

At the same time I try to detect lakes and rivers through the noise in the DSM and also replace the z value with reference data.

My question is, how can I detect waterbodies and hight errors in hight mountain areas?

I use a non-edited DSM generated out of radar sensor data and want to prepare the data for further analyses. Hight error values can be found in areas with steep slope and close to waterbodies and are caused by sensor shadowing. I would like to find those height errors and replace those values with data from my reference layer.
