topic Multi-layer symbology dependency in ArcGIS Pro Questions

I have a polygon layer of world countries and a layer of personnel that are working or vacationing in places other than the United States. During a crisis (which just happens to coincide with COVID-19) this would be used to see where every employee is currently located in a single place. However, I haven't been able to sort out the dependent layer symbology. How do I symbolize the country polygon layer based on the country listed in the work/vacation point layer? I understand you can symbolize by attribute, but that appears to be only for fields within the original layer.

Version: ArcGIS Pro 2.5.0

Data: World_Countries (FeatureServer) & a personnel tracker via .csv

Brynda Hatch‌
