Using the summary statistics tool in ArcMap used to ignore null values, and provide summarized tabular data successfully. In Pro, however, if there are null values in the field to be summarized the application decides to skip the analysis and provides an empty result instead of filtering out the nulls and providing a result from the subset. Documentation says that the functionality should be the same as in ArcMap but the results are baffling. When I try to short circuit the process by using make feature layer to filter off the records with null values preemptively, I'm getting an empty feature class when I can say for certain I should have two records with values. I'm at version 3.6.4. using the tool in ModelBuilder.
