Hi @Mark_S

You could try one of the following:

1. Open the Transverse Options (gear icon)
2. Under Direction Type, choose:
North Azimuth or Quadrant Bearing (if you prefer N/S-E/W format)

3. Make sure Direction Unit is in Degrees
4. Make sure Rotation is Clockwise

Option 2

Change the maps direction units

Go to: Project > Options > Units > Direction Units

Set:
Direction Type = North Azimuth
Direction Units = Degrees
Rotation = Clockwise
Then restart the tool.

I hope this is some help at least.

Traverse tool issue,

When I use the Traverse tool to type in a bearing and direction it does so correctly. But when I use the two point line option in the traverse tool, It appears to base north from the east line and calculates counter clockwise. Please see screenshot attachment. I've checked my units in settings and everything seems set correctly. I have tried ground to grid corrections, but there isn't a way to make it choose north as the origin direction to calculate the bearings. Is there another setting that I am missing. In the screen shot attached these are two parallel line started in the same direction. One is typed in and the other is created by using the two point option in the traverse tool.
