Hi,

Last year I ran an full dataload of AddressBasePremium data, for the entire of the UK, into a file geodatabase on a virtual PC with the specs aligned with those recommended in the UK DataLoader documentation. I had to run this in batches of 100 csv files as if I ran with all 371 files at once it hung at the point of de-duplicating.

The above took around 40 hours.

I have recently been trying to load a CoU into the file geodatabase however this hangs at the point of importing files. I've left for days and it does not progress but also doesn't crash.

To get the updates I've had to do a full dataload again, which is not ideal. Looking for anyone else who has tried UK DataLoader for AddressBasePremium data for the entirety of the UK and has successfully loaded a CoU into the full dataset?

Hi Hannah

Have you thought about downloading the NGD Built Address data in geopackage format. That should plug straight into your GIS without having to do any conversion - sample data is here
