I upgraded to version 3.6 last Friday and after it updated, I opened an previous map and it says item cannot be opened and all may maps are blank screens with no data. I also could not create a new map of any sort, it again said that the item cannot be opened. I had to revert back to version 3.3. I am super curious as to if anyone else has had this issue? Or what may have caused it?

I did not have an issue like that. Did you restart after installing? Did you try opening the project by double clicking on it in File Explorer rather than from the list of recent projects in Pro?

After the I updated to 3.6 yesterday, I received this message for all my layers in the Create Features pane even though all the boxes are checked. Layer is marked not editable. You control application level editability in the List by Editing view of Contents pane.

It might be worth performing a clean uninstall and reinstall of Pro to see if it resolves your issue

https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/how-to-perform-a-clean-uninstall-and-reinstall-of-arcgi-000030419

I have not experienced this issue either, but I would recommend that you ensure your system has all of the minimum requirements to run ArcGIS Pro 3.6 successfully. You can check out the requirements or scan your computer for compatibility by visiting this link: ArcGIS Pro 3.6 system requirements—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation
