idea Labelling In ArcScene in ArcGIS Pro Ideas

Labelling In ArcScene

The option to lable ArcScene layesr should be available. If I want to drape some prominent buildings over a 3D Dem, and I want to show my client, see this building is this, I have to pick the identify tools or rely on teh symbology tool.

Rather I should be given the option of labelling my features , Shouldnt I ?

Please review my suggestion !

Is this suggestion valid ? what is the alternative, to use the names from attribute table as a visualising aid in arcscene ?

I realize this thread is old, but if you haven't tried importing your scenes to ArcGIS Pro, that might work well: Add maps and scenes to a project—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop

Hi @AdarshMadhavan ,

ArcGIS Desktop, which includes ArcScene, is in mature support and will be retired March 1, 2026 so we won’t be considering this idea. We recommend that you migrate to ArcGIS Pro, our fully supported desktop GIS application.
