idea Exporting Attribute table data as a CSV file in ArcGIS Pro Ideas

Currently ArcGIS Desktop allows you to export the contents of the attribute table only in the below formats.
1) File and Personal Geodatabase tables (default)
2) dBase Table
3) Info tables
4) Text Files
5) File Geodatabase Tables
6) SDE tables

I recently attended an ArcGIS Vendor Training and I noticed that proficient ArcGIS users have to download the text file and manually convert them to csv files to do post-processing work.

It would be great if the export table feature had the option of exporting a .csv file.

My understanding is that this already exists.
If you choose 4) Text files from the list of export options above and change the extension from .txt to a .csv in your file name. It exports to csv!

I agree. She has been manually changing it for the past 8 years. I told the vendor exactly what you suggested. But wouldn't it be better if we just had it as a drop-down option. It would make the user experience better.

I realize that this was submitted against ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap) but wanted to point out that it is easy to export as CSV in ArcGIS Pro. See https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/conversion/export-table.htm
