idea Publisher/ArcReader - maintain table joins, relates, queries in pmf data package in ArcGIS Pro Ideas

It would be great if table joins, relates and queries/graphs could be maintained when creating pmf data packages for ArcReader.

If the pmf and data packaging was designed to allow for easy (and safe) distribution of map data without the complications of web-hosting (site building, deployment, licensing etc), then it should be able to support the packaging of most of the end-user related information, data and views used in an mxd - i.e. expand on the client/end-user services/features rather than the gis user/developer functionality.

It would allow for a GIS technician/developer/specialist to design, develop and build toward offering client-relevant information rather than data-driven/functional capability.

ArcGIS Desktop is in mature support and will be retired March 1, 2026 so we won’t be considering this idea. We recommend that you migrate to ArcGIS Pro, our fully supported desktop GIS application. See Migrate from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro for more information. Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas. We truly appreciate your contributions to continuously improving the software to help you do your work and look forward to what ideas you have for ArcGIS Pro.
