Setting an anchor point position for callouts

Dear Sir / Madam,

Is it possible to add functionality to change the anchor points of callouts of labels to polylines?

For polygons, this functionality already exists: http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/10.3/map/working-with-text/setting-an-anchor-point-position-for-callouts.htm

Usually the callouts are in the middle of the polylines, but sometimes at the beginning or the end. These should then be moved manually (after translation to annotation) which can be a lot of work.

This would be a nice addition!
